Vi har redan flyttat in (eller rättare sagt, våra första hyresgäster har det!)
We have already moved into the house (or actually, our first renters have!)

Det verkar som 2 svalor har beslutat sig för att just vårt hus är ett bra ställe att bygga sitt bo på. Vi tolkar det som ett gott tecken! Vi är lite oroliga bara för vad som händer när husfasaden skall få sin slutliga färg.

It seems that two swallows decided that our house was the best place to build their nest on. We consider this a good sign for the future! We are just a bit worried about what will happen when the facad will get it's last coat of paint.


Nu har grunden lagts för vårt förråd. Det visar sig att väggen blir en perfekt solvägg för kvällssolen. Vi får sol fram till 21-tiden på sommaren. Längst ut på tomten kan vi antagligen få sol ända tills den går ner bakom skogen. Härligt!

The foundation for the storage house is now in place. We found out that the wall of the storage house will be a perfect spot to sit in the evening sun. We'll have sun until 9 PM in the summertime here.  At the far end of the garden we'll be able to sit in the sun until sundown. Thats nice!

Äntligen blev vi insläppta! Finally we are allowed to step inside!

 

Nedre plan är fortfarande utan innerväggar, men nu fullt med elkablar överallt!

The groundfloor is still without inner walls, but full of electrical wires hanging everywhere!

 

Ytterväggarna har nu fått 2 lager med isolering, ett ytterlager om ca 30 cm drygt separerat från det inre skiktet med plast. Innanför isoleringen har stålreglar satts upp och i dessa ligger ca 10 cm isolering ytterligare.

The outer walls are well insulated with two separate layers of insulation. One outer layer 30 cm thick separated from the inner layer with a plastic sheet. Inside this layer metallic studs are put up and another layer of insulation, 10 cm
 thick is put inside these.

 

Huset har provtryckts, dvs testats på hur täta ytterväggarna är och hur bra det står emot kyla och läckage av värme. Ett tätt hus har också mycket mindre kondensproblem. Den friska luften skall tillföras via ventilation, inte genom otätheter i väggarna.

The house has been pressure tested, that is, a test to see how tight the outer walls are and how well the house resist cold from creeping in and heat leaking out. An air tight house also have less condence problems. The fresh air should be coming from the ventilation system, not through holes in the walls.
